How to find the battle site:
By Car

From London and the North:

Leave the M4 motorway at Junction 16 (Hungerford) and follow the A4 westbound to Marlborough.
Continue on the A4 to the Beckhampton roundabout, then follow the signs to Devizes (A361). AA signs clearly mark the route from Devizes.

From the South Coast:
At Salisbury follow the A360 to Devizes.
AA signs will direct traffic through Devizes to the battle site.

From the South West:
Follow the A303 and A350 to Trowbridge. From Trowbridge take the A361 to Devizes . At Devizes follow the AA road signs to the battle site.
Free car parking is available on site.

By Public transport

 

National Express buses run daily to Devizes from London. More regular services are available to Swindon. Visit the National Express website
